The body of a man in his 30s was found near Roedean school in Brighton this morning.
A jogger discovered the body on a path between the school and the A259 shortly after 7am.
Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
The Brighton and Hove coroner's officer has been informed of the death.
Traffic on the A259 was held up by slowing cars as a small crowd gathered to watch the police operation.
