A woman was cut free from a car after a crash.
The 58-year-old was injured in a Peugeot 306 which was in a collision with a BMW near the junction of Jesmond Road and Portland Road, Hove, at about 4pm.
Firefighters cut the roof off the Peugeot to free the woman because she had suspected spinal injuries.
She was treated by paramedics but police later confirmed she was not seriously injured.
