Hair tongs and high heels are at the ready for a catwalk event to showcase retailers.
The fashion show is organiser by Unique Brighton, a collection of more that 350 independent shops, bars and restaurants in the North Laines, North Street and The Lanes.
Professional fashion stylist Jane Busby has been shopping for outfits for the show and will dress the 22 models strutting their stuff.
She said: "I will show the public what is in store for them this autumn and winter season. It will be a brilliant show and the weather is going to be good too."
The event will be an open marquee in East Street on Sunday from 2pm, not 6pm as previously reported, and feature outfits from local stores.
Soozie Campbell, city centre manager, said: "This is Brighton at its best - everyone working together to put on a great show, have a great time and reinforce Brighton's reputation as the place to be."
Visitors to the show are asked to make a donation to Chestnut Tree Hospice, in Poling, near Arundel, which cares for sick children.
