REGARDING John Pearce’s letter on the walk-in health centre in Queen’s Road, Brighton, (The Argus, August 27), I had a very different experience at the centre.

I could not get an appointment with a GP at my surgery for four days. I went into the health centre and was seen within half an hour.

I think it’s great that, finally, a surgery is open other than nine to five, Monday to Friday. More surgeries should follow suit.
