Police closed down three weekend raves after the Beachdown music festival was cancelled.
About 80 people attended illegal parties near Ditchling Beacon, while another was shut down between Ford and Climping, near Arundel.
Sussex Police thanked Beachdown ticketholders for staying away from the event site at the Devil's Dyke.
Chief Superintendent Martin Walker said: "We understand that thousands of people were very disappointed by the cancellation of the festival, but by staying away they enabled us to quickly reduce the policing resources needed to manage the closedown of the site.
"The operation was wrapped up at 2pm on Monday."
