A man has been charged with six robberies in Sussex.
Alex Simms, also known as Denny, is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court today accused of raids in Brighton, Hove, Haywards Heath and Crawley.
Simms, 20, of no fixed abode, was arrested in Crawley on Tuesday.
He is accused of carrying out the crimes, in which people threatened with a handgun to make them hand over cash, at newsagents, a guest house, a clothes shop and a bureau de change since August 13.
