I am concerned about the way certain charities use companies to promote themselves and their events.
I was phoned recently by a company promoting a raffle for a disabled charity.
I was told all the company wanted was my credit or debit card details to buy some raffle tickets. What idiot is going to give these details to a perfect stranger on the phone? This is not the way charities should be promoted. People should be warned that this is occurring.
