An airport transfer bus has collided into a crash barrier near Gatwick Airport in Sussex after its driver was taken ill at the wheel.
The driver, 48, was ferrying passengers between the airport's North Terminal and a local hotel when the accident happened just before 4am on Tuesday.
The bus was about to join the A23 from a northbound slip road but crashed at slow speed into a crash barrier before reaching the main road.
A police spokesman said no-one on board the bus was injured and only minor damage was caused to the vehicle and the barrier.
The driver, from Horley, Surrey, was taken to the New East Surrey Hospital and later released.
