I WISH to express my heartfelt thanks to the lady in a car who stopped and phoned for an ambulance for my wife who had tripped over uneven pavement and badly cut her head and right knee.
This happened on Friday, August 21, just after midday.
I do not know the address of the lady or her name, only that she lives in Saltdean.
I would also like to thank Alan Pockney who was passing and stopped and stayed while the police and ambulance attended to my wife and he comforted me.
One suddenly realises how kind and helpful people can be in such a situation and the number of drivers passing who enquired if they could help.
