Already one of Brighton’s most vibrant, bustling areas, Gardner Street is about to become even buzzier this Monday with a community knees-up organised by traders to mark the bank holiday.
Live bands will perform on a stage near Komedia, the staff at Purple Heart will be painting faces and there will be salsa dancing, barbecues and DJs playing tunes to get people dancing in the street.
Many of the road’s quirky independent shops and cafes will also be open.
