Twice when parking my car in London Road, Brighton, the parking ticket showed a ten-minute difference between my arrival and my real time of arrival.
There I was, thinking that I had one hour to do my shopping when in fact it was only 50 minutes.
When I contacted the operator he told me to mention it when I came back and that he would correct my fee accordingly.
Is this a new way by Brighton and Hove City Council to make money from already poorly treated car owners?
I wish to add that when leaving, another car followed me at full speed before the shutter closed, thereby not having to pay his car parking fees.
Some people alway manage to foil the system and to take advantage of other people.
Apart from this, the new parking looks cleaner and a bit more welcoming.
