A pair of lingerie designers have teamed up with photographers to launch an upmarket fashion magazine.
Stevi Jalbert and Emma Sandham-King, the women behind Brighton-based Ophelia Fancy, hope to use the publication to showcase their own talents as well as those of other designers in the city.
The idea behind Gang Up magazine originally came from fashion photographer DarkDaze, who approached Stevi and Emma.
The trio then got together with fellow photographers Sam Hiscox and Louie Banks as well as model Sally Reynolds.
Stevi said: “We started working on shoots together and swapped ideas for about six months.
“It seems like the finished magazine has come out of nowhere. It looks beautiful.”
The six have funded Gang Up out of their own pockets and the publication includes no adverts or editorial.
Stevi said: “It’s more of a piece of art itself than a magazine.
We wanted it to be a creative outlet rather than something to make money from.”
The first 100 issues of Gang Up went on sale at last night’s launch party. More copies are available, priced £12, click here.
