The sun had its hat on and so did the residents enjoying Brighton and Hove's longest running festival at the weekend.
The Brunswick Festival, which is in its 28th consecutive year, saw crowds flock to Brunswick Square to make the most of the community picnic in the sunshine.
During Saturday and Sunday afternoon music filled the square as the crowds enjoyed dancing, street theatre and circus skills performances.
One of the volunteer organisers, Toni Tye, said: “It has been fabulous.
“Last year there were about 5,000 people here and I reckon this has been busier.
“We've had more than 135 stalls. It has been so full.
“The festival is very much a community offering, by the community for the community and we are all volunteers.
“There is a really diverse range of cultures and food and music and everyone had a great time.”
