I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who donated to the participants in our sponsored walk between Hove Lagoon and the Palace Pier on Sunday, August 9.
We raised £178 by “shaking our bucket”, all of which will go towards caring for working and abandoned donkeys in Israel and Palestine.
The owners rely entirely on their animal for such vital tasks as bringing in crops from the field and taking goods to the market for sale so by helping the donkeys, the kind people of Brighton and Hove are also helping Safe Haven for Donkeys in the Holy Land reach out to their owners, some of the poorest people in the world.
Thank you all so much for your generosity.
