The University of Southampton is looking for people to take part in a study investigating coping and adjusting to spousal bereavement in later life.
The aim of this research is to examine what resources people find most beneficial and useful in coping and adjusting (such as social support or religious beliefs and practices) and to identify whether some resources are more helpful or important than others.
This study would only involve you completing a questionnaire and answering questions about your experience of bereavement, and about religious and non- religious factors that may or may not have been helpful to you.
If you are over the age of 55, have experienced bereavement from a spouse in the past four years, and would be willing to complete a questionnaire, please contact John on 07867 627805 or email Jhs101@soton.ac.uk.
