I AM glad people are enjoying the flowers and lack of rubbish in Old Steine.
However, the view from the north-west overlooking the war memorial is not so good. In fact for months we have been looking at what resembles a builder’s yard.
I have complained and they have tidied it up a bit but all of Old Steine is a conservation area so why is it there and who gave permission?
When I bought my flat it had a pleasant outlook and I could cut through the Pavilion Gardens to the library.
Then we had to put up with living for three years next to Equinox. The side gate was padlocked and, in spite of our requests, remains locked.
I’m sure other people would like to use the path again – any support please?
