Are East Saltdean and Telscombe residents aware that part of the bunding may be removed from Telscombe Tye?
East Sussex County Council (ESCC) are only giving people until August 28 to make their views known on the proposed changes to their enforcement notice.
There are conflicting views as to whether the bunding should be removed. However, it is important that residents are aware of the cost implications to local council taxpayers should removal take place.
At a recent public meeting hosted by Telscombe Town Council, the ESCC representative stated that community- wide consultation would be desirable. Has this been achieved by merely posting planning notices at the entrances to the Tye? What steps have Telscombe Town council taken to aid this community-wide consultation?
