So this weekend I’ll be even more excited to see the clock to show going home time and the weekend to begin. Why you ask? It will mark the beginning of my first holiday in what seems like years and man I need it!
While I much prefer working to uni - the job brings in the income - I am still struggling not having the long holidays that studying brought. So while I only have 10 days and it’s a simple camping trip to Cornwall, I am really looking forward to this break. However, a camping trip in the UK is somewhat risky in regards to the weather. Even now at the height of summer the weather is changing on a day-to-day basis. But fear not I have this covered. With a surfing holiday – does it matter if it rains all day – no – I’ll be wet. Hey the surf will probably be better. We have made sure we’re camping in close proximity a many pubs to keep us dry and entertained at the same time and I am packing almost ever item of clothing I own to make sure I am always dry.
But guess what – if it was warm and dry, I for sure won’t be complaining! See you in two weeks when I return (hopefully dry and tanned rather than wet and soggy!)
