A woman who ran a landmark Brighton venue has returned to the city to relaunch it as an entertainment agency.
Sue Popper showcased acts including Amy Winehouse, The Kooks and Newton Faulkner during her five years at the Joogleberry Playhouse in Manchester Street, Brighton.
In 2007 Ms Popper sold the cult venue, which became Latest Music Bar and spent more than a year travelling in India.
Now she has returned to Brighton to relaunch Joogleberry as an entertainment agency.
The new venture, Joogleberry Acts will provide music and entertainment for events of every kind.
It will feature the best of Joogleberry's performers such as Fake Bush, Los Albertos and The Magic Number.
New acts will also include tribute band Scizzor Sisterz, an 11 piece jive band Fat 45 and comedian Mark Little.
Ms Popper said: "Music is in my blood.
“I just couldn't stay away from it in India and realised I wanted to pick up where I left off when I got home but this time with a project of benefit to everyone and not just those able to travel to one particular venue.
“Brighton is chock full of amazing talent and I want people right across the UK and beyond to enjoy it."
