AFC Wimbledon have had the better of a goalless first half at a packed Priory Lane.
The visitors looked the most likely to break the deadlock but have been unable to take advantage of some poor Eastbourne Borough defending.
Chris Hussey set the alarm bells ringing as early as the seventh minute when he curled a free kick dangerously across the face of goal when it just needed a touch to find the back of the net.
An uncharacteristic mistake from Marc Pullan then gifted Jon Main an opening but he shot over the bar while Danny Knowles had to be alert just after the half hour when Dan Smith's sliced clearance bounced threatening towards goal.
Danny Brown went closest for Borough when he drilled a shot wide from 20-yards while Jamie Taylor could have done better from a cross from Dan Smith.
