A consultation is to take place with parents and children in the Knoll area, to discuss improvements to the children’s play area in the local park, following the news that Brighton and Hove Council have allocated funding for the updating of the playground.
The consultation will take place in Knoll Park on Thursday 23rd July between 3pm and 6.30pm. The My Play Space Project Team and the Play Designers will be present to speak to local residents and park users to find out their ideas and opinions.
The volunteer-run community café in the park pavilion will be open all afternoon for the sale of refreshments and volunteers would be happy to discuss other ways to get involved with the park, including how to participate in the monthly family work days, which are run by the Friends of Knoll Park in association with Gary, the Park Ranger, and take place between 10.30 and 1.30 on the second Sunday of each month.
More information about the Council’s play park development scheme is available on their website.
