The Mobile Play Project is bringing the Playbus to Whitehawk and Manor Farm this summer.
The bus will be visiting on these dates:
- Thursday 30th July – 2.30pm to 5pm – Coolham Drive near the Crew Club
- Friday 31st July – 2.30pm to 5pm – Coolham Drive near the Crew Club
- Monday 3rd August – 10am to 12 noon – Roundabout Children's Centre, Whitehawk Road
- Monday 10th August – 2.30pm to 5pm – St. Mark's School, Manor Road
- Tuesday 25th August – 10am to 12 noon – Roundabout Children's Centre, Whitehawk Road
The supervised play activities may include games, toys, using play equipment, balls, parachutes, and art materials. The activities are always chosen by the children and some might be messy, so the Mobile Play Team advise that children should wear appropriate clothing.
Play bus activities are aimed at children aged four to 11. The play sessions are free. Children and their parents or carers can come and go as they please, but children under 8 should be accompanied by an adult.
For more information call the Family Information Service on 293545 or visit http://www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/fis. Alternatively call in to Whitehawk Library or Youth Centre.
The bus came to Whitehawk only once last summer; local councillors asked for more visits this year, so please go along and join the fun!
