A woman was sexually assaulted in a Worthing park last night.
Police cordoned off Homefield Park as they investigated the attack this morning.
A woman in her 30s was found in the park at about 12.30am. Police said she was "distressed" and told them she had been the victim of a sexual assault.
Detectives want to speak to anyone who heard anything suspicious in the park, near the skate park area, in the minutes before they found the woman.
They are also trying to find two men aged about 20 who she was with before the attack.
Scenes of crime officers are working at the park this morning.
Anyone with information is asked to call Sussex Police on 0845 6070999 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
