OUR lilac collection in Withdean Park is just coming into flower once again. If you have never visited this super green space, woodland and pond garden, to see Brighton and Hove City’s fabulous lilac collection (which lost its national status in 2007 due to lack of maintenance) then come along to our fourth Lilac Lark on Sunday, May 10, from 2pm to 5pm.
We have a fun dog show, various stalls, children’s woodcraft and other activities, music, refreshments and home made cakes.
Come and join us among the perfume of the lilacs for a relaxing and fun afternoon for all ages.
Phillipa Shaw, Co-ordinator, Friends of Withdean Park
