With less than a week until the Brighton Festival Fringe starts, the Spiegeltent is already taking shape.
The venue is setting up camp in Old Steine, Brighton, and a circus with a spaceship big top has also pitched up on Hove Lawns.
Tickets for some Fringe shows have already sold out and others are selling fast. Many shows have four-for-three ticket offers and the Fringe is offering a 25% discount on selected shows when more than 20 tickets are booked.
Embassy Court Tours, Josie Long’s one-off Fringe show at the Three and Ten, and many dates at Bom-Banes café have all sold out.
Henning When – 1,000 Years of German Humour at Komedia is putting on a second show after selling out of tickets.
Acts which are selling out fast include Pet Sounds vs Sergeant Peppers at St George’s Church, Victorian comedians The Penny Dreadfuls at the Three and Ten, The Levellers at the Parlure Spiegeltent, Modern Toss at The Old Market, Nourish at The Old Police Cells Museum and the Delicious Raw Chocolate Workshop.
