A woman has broken her wrist in a “road rage” incident.
The 62-year-old woman was pushed to the ground after speaking to the male driver of a small beige or silver car which pulled in front of her suddenly.
The woman spoke to the man at traffic lights on Lewes Road after he pulled in front of her as she moved to the right hand lane to go around the Gyratory, causing her to brake sharply and sound her horn.
But the man got out of his car and pushed her in the chest, causing her to fall over and break her wrist.
The man then got back into his car and drove off.
The incident happened at about 5pm on Friday. The woman had just pulled out of Bear Road and was driving south.
Anybody who witnessed the incident should contact DC James Meanwell at Sussex Police on 0845 6070999 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
