For this recital, Dr Srikanth – a highly respected violin tutor – will perform music from India’s devotional Carnatic tradition, one of the world’s oldest surviving musical forms.
Blending composition and improvisation, she will be joined by musicians playing the mridangam (a two-sided drum), the ghatam (clay pot) and the morching (Jewish harp).
- Starts 1pm. Tickets £8.
