A five-week festival of dance music unique to Britain is to hit Brighton next weekend.
Go Bang will take place in venues across the city from Saturday and adds to the month’s busy festival line up.
The idea behind the event, which has taken ten years to organise, started when the organisers heard of a weekend-long house festival in Cork and thought they could extend the partying to a month.
Sussex producers, DJs, record collectors, radio show hosts, record labels and venues will be involved.
Matt Neale, who will be playing at the Full Moon in Boyces Street on May 9 with Basement Soul, said: “It's fantastic to be part of the festival.
“A collective such as this is a rare thing in this city so I jumped at the chance to play. Good music is a bonding factor, so hats off to Go Bang for putting its money where its mouth is.”
The festival kicks off with a launch party at the Jazz Place on May 2.
