The travelling players of Shakespeare’s Globe return to Brighton Festival with an alfresco production of The Comedy of Errors.
Last year, the world’s most famous theatre brought Romeo And Juliet to life in the back of a blue VW camper, and this year continue to breathe fresh life into the bard’s comedies with a production staged to replicate the Tudor touring experience.
Take one pair of estranged twins who share a name, add two servants, keep each in ignorance of the other and cast into a city rife with sorcery.
Visitors to St Nicholas’s Rest Garden are invited to bring a picnic and cushions to watch this comic tale of misadventure and social chaos.
Sponsored by CSMA Club Starts 6pm Friday, 1pm and 6pm Sturday and 3pm Sunday. £12.50 (children £7.50). Family ticket £35 (based on two adults and two children).
