This world premiere production of Joe Orton’s outlandish tale couldn’t have found a better home than the Brighton Pier.
Originally written for TV in 1966, Orton’s play follows Erpingham, who runs his holiday empire with missionary zeal. When the entertainments officer is struck down, all hell breaks loose. Orton’s re-imagining of Euripides’ Bacchae is commissioned by Brighton Festival.
Starts, 7pm and 10.30pm. Returns only, but there will be ten £10 tickets for each performance available from 10am on the day from the ticket office.
