In September 2007 The Argus published an article about the death of our 17-year-old son Tom who died from Sudep (sudden unexplained death in epilepsy).
Tom’s sister Emma, 23, is now a paediatric staff nurse at the children’s intensive care unit, King’s College Hospital, London, where most of the research into Sudep is carried out.
In memory of her brother, Emma is taking part in the London 10K run on Sunday, July 12, to help raise funds for the Epilepsy Bereaved charity. If anyone would like to sponsor her, please visit www.justgiving.com/emma heward1.
