With more than 10,000 people expected, the children’s parade is one of the biggest events of the festival calender.
It is now entering its 19th year with another cavalcade of costume and colour.
The theme this year for the 4,000 participants from 70 schools and community groups is the elements – earth, air, fire and water.
This symbol of Brighton’s creative energy is the biggest and brightest community event of its type in the country.
