A film starring former Coronation Street actor and Hove resident Brian Capron will launch a festival.
The screening of Ambleton Delight will kick off The End Of The Pier Film Festival in Worthing on Saturday.
Mr Capron will join the cast and crew at the event in the Ritz Theatre.
The film was shot in Sussex, showcasing local talent.
It revolves around a small fictional Sussex village named Ambleton during the apple harvest season which is rocked by a proposal for a nearby motorway.
Dan Parkes, the film's director, said: "We made this on next to nothing, yet it looks fantastic.
"It is a real tribute to the hard work and talent we have in Sussex, and the film's themes regarding village life and discrimination that has attracted many to support the project."
