Tales from a wing-suited, speed-climbing extreme sports athlete should make a thrilling contrast to the usual lecture.
Tim Emmett has scaled sheer rock-faces and dived off cliffs in his quest for adventure. His most recent pursuit is para alpinism.
Tim climbs mountains with a base-jumping rig then jumps off into freefall.
He is one of the few people who have trained to pilot a wing suit, enabling him to fly at up to 250mph.
Tim also came sixth in the Ice Climbing World Cup and is a pioneer of deep water soloing, which is free-climbing a cliff above water. He presents BBC One’s Ultimate Rock Climb, and beat Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson up France’s Verdon Gorge in an Audi.
