Dame Julie Andrews' great niece may follow in her famous relative's footsteps as she gets ready to star in My Fair Lady.
Rosie Evans, who is studying at Varndean College in Brighton, will play the lead role, Cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle, in the production at the Theatre Royal.
It's the 18-year-old's first major singing and acting opportunity after four years as a member of Brighton Theatre Group.
Her great aunt was the star of Hollywood musicals including Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music and Rosie followed the family tradition by taking part in Les Misérables and Jekyll and Hyde with Brighton theatre group REACT.
After her A-levels she will study classical music in her bid to become a professional opera singer.
My Fair Lady will run at the Theatre Royal from June 2 6 at 7.45pm with matinees at 2.30pm on Thursday and Saturday.
