A serial sex pest who has been exposing himself to passers-by for 60 years is finally to get the help he needs.
Julien Duffey, 78, has been jailed before after he indecently exposed himself at least 700 times.
The pensioner, who admits he cannot subdue his urges, appealed for help to deal with his problem when he spoke to The Argus after yet another conviction in February last year.
Duffey said then: "I want to face up to my problem and not run away. I want to put this behind me but I can only do that if I am allowed to get help."
Yesterday, Duffey, of Lewes Road, Brighton, admitted indecently exposing himself again on October 10.
Dianne Chan, prosecuting, said a woman was standing at a bus stop opposite Duffey's flat when she noticed a light being turned on and off.
The woman looked up and saw Duffey standing in the window exposing himself, Hove Crown Court was told.
Judge David Rennie said he recognised Duffey needed help and imposed a two-year community order.
Duffey will have to attend ten two-hour sessions with a sex offenders officer.
