A man was taken to hospital after a fight in a Brighton pub.
The 41-year-old had a heart attack at The Good Companions in Dyke Road, Brighton, at about 9.40pm last night.
Police said they were called after an "altercation" at the pub.
The man was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital, where his condition was described as serious yesterday.
Sussex Police said officers are interviewing people who were in the pub at the time.
Three men from Brighton, aged 18, 22 and 49, were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
They were still in custody this morning.
