A man will stand trial after pleading not guilty today to murdering a man during a late-night street fight in a seaside town.
Kai Orgles, 19, is accused of stabbing to death 26-year-old Syden Pearson near the victim's home in Shelby Road, Durrington, Worthing, West Sussex, on January 30.
Mr Pearson suffered multiple knife wounds and died at Worthing Hospital.
Orgles, of Moore Close, Durrington, denied murder during a five-minute plea and case management hearing in front of Judge Richard Brown at Lewes Crown Court.
Prosecutor Jeremy Gold QC said a trial lasting between five and seven days would take place from June 29. Orgles was remanded in custody.
