The prosecution will open its case today in the trial of a man accused of stabbing his wife to death in Bognor.
Cassandra Hasanovic, 24, was declared dead in hospital after police were called to a property in Normanton Avenue on July 29 last year.
Her husband, Serbian-born Hajrudin Hasanovic, 33, of Prescott Close, Guston, near Dover, Kent, was charged with her murder the following day. He denies the charge.
Yesterday a jury of nine women and three men was sworn in at Lewes Crown Court.
Prosecutor Philippa McAtasney QC will open the Crown's case from 10.30am today.
The trial is expected to last three weeks.
