Villagers have leapt to the aid of townsfolk whose lives have been devastated by an earthquake.
Pevensey, near Eastbourne, has historic links with the Italian town of L’Aquila going back nearly 1,000 years.
Last week the town was rocked by an earthquake which killed 293 people in the region.
Regulars at Pevensey's Smugglers pub have organised a collection to help the people in the village.
