Surely the population east of Brighton has suffered for long enough.

When will the ill-conceived road scheme that has created long queues of stationary traffic be replaced?

I can normally travel from Hove to Ovingdean in 12 minutes, it then takes ten minutes to get past the lights at Rottingdean.

It cannot be good for the environment having so many stationary cars spewing out fumes.

The road markings are also confusing and lead to motorists attempting to travel in both lanes eastwards up the hill from the Ovingdean roundabout in an attempt to prevent other motorists from using the second (outside) lane.

Don’t these motorists realise two lanes of traffic make for shorter queues and interleaving when it reduces to one lane results in fairness?

Brighton and Hove City councillors please get something done and quick.

Then charge the East Sussex County councillor responsible to recoup the cost for this abominable road scheme.
