Big Brother host Davina McCall was one of hundreds of mourners to attend Jade Goody's funeral.
The TV star, who lives in Wadhurst, near Crowborough, presents the reality show which made Jade famous.
Davina, who attended the service in Essex with her husband and three children, interviewed Jade following her appearance in Big Brother 3 in 2002.
She also grilled her after her ill-fated appearance on Celebrity Big Brother 2007, when thousands of people complained about the treatment of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty.
Thousands of people lined the streets from Bermondsey, south London, to St John the Baptist Church, in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, where the 27-year-old's funeral was held.
Ms Goody died on March 22 – Mother's Day – after losing her battle with cervical cancer.
