What’s on at Bishop Hannington Church this week (22nd March 09)? Our main events are the Sunday services; 8-00am is a traditional Holy Communion based on the 1662 Book of Common Prayer and at 10.00am we have our morning worship. Our 6.30 evening service is predominately by and for our younger people with modern music and good bands. Every week day Monday to Friday Funland playgroup meet between 9-15 and 1pm and every Tuesday our Tuesday Group is held for young Mums between 10-30 and 11-45 am. Women’s Fellowship between 2-30 and 3.45 pm every Tuesday aftetrnoon is for (slightly) older ladies. Tiddlywinks for toddlers and their carers is between 9-45 and 11-15 am each Wednesday and our midweek communion is between 11-30 and 12-30. Our G’day cafe, a drop in cafe for school kids from 3-00 pm has upwards of 60 children each Wednesday afternoon after school. Come And Meet Each Other (CAMEO) for all with time on their hands is on Thursdays from 10-00 am, and 20/20 is our group for young people in their twenties between 7-30 and 9-15 pm. Every Thursday evening Level 1 Explorers for year 5-7 children is between 6-30 and 7-30 pm, and Level 2 Explorers for year 8-13 children between 7-30 and 8-45 pm Every Friday Global Cafe for English Language student’s between 5 and 8 pm, and Kings Own/Crusaders for students aged 13-18 meets between 7-30 and 9 pm Further details of all these events are shown on our website www.bhmc.org.uk Looking ahead; our new Youth, Minister James Pinto, is starting in September and we are looking forward to welcoming him then.
