Shoppers queued from 5.30am today to be one of the first to get inside a new Aldi store.
Bargain-hunters were going crazy for the discount store, which opened in London Road, Brighton at 9am.
The German retailer gave away golden tickets to the first 100 people in the queue.
The 1,040sqft store occupies the old Sainsbury's site.
The golden tickets give customers the chance to win a 26in television as well as other electrical items, subject to a £10 minimum spend.
