Europe's oldest man Henry Allingham is to be awarded France's Legion of Honour medal next week.
First World War veteran Mr Allingham, 112, who lives at St Dunstan's, a home for former servicemen and women in Ovingdean, Brighton, was a mechanic in the RAF The Legion d'Honneur is the highest decoration in France.
