JPT Southern area final.
Luton 1-1 Brighton (Luton win 4-3 on penalties).
Attendance 8,711. Brighton blew the only potential thing they had left this season after losing to Luton and losing their Wembley dream.
A error between Virgo and Kuipers after 59 seconds allowed Craddock to score, Forster replied with a low hard shot on 29 minutes. Brighton did look the better side for most of the match for a change, but unfortunately the whole game changed after Livermore was sent off for a tackle just before half time.
My initial reaction was it was 50-50 and looked a bit harsh.
Anyway, Jarret and Birchall both had their penalties saved and sent Luton to Wembley to play Scunthorpe.
Yet another loss and I have finally lost patience. It’s time for Adams to go.
We should have comfortably won last night, he made changes from what was an awful squad anyway but put Kuipers in goal.
This was a massive error, his kicking was poor and the goal was just amateur. Adams has lost my backing and the backing of most of the fans but I think he should do the decent thing and quit.
We have 16 games left which is potentially 48 points. We should either get someone in until the end of season to try and keep us up, if we leave Adams in charge we will go down.
Massive game on Saturday against Millwall, I cannot see us getting much from the game but will support the boys and keep my fingers crossed.
Kuipers 2. Awful kicking and at fault for the goal. Whing 7. Strong in defence.
Virgo 3. Time for the chop, I think. El-Abd 5. Played all right.
Livermore 4. Looked good, silly sending off.
Birchall 8 MOM. Played some decent through balls.
Fraser 7. Worked his socks off.
Jarrett 5. More effort.
Cox 5. Micky should have kept him on.
Forster 6. Ran all over the place, offside too many times.
Andrew 5. Not great again.
Cook 5. Didn't really do much.
Adams 2. Team selection poor should have kept Cox on after sending off.
Bye Bye.
