Brighton 0-2 Carlisle Att: 5,529.
Albion suffered another home defeat as the pressure really grows on boss Micky Adams.
The pitch today was the worst I have ever seen it, Preston Park is in better condition at the moment.
I know the weather has been bad but this was awful.
Brighton's performance was the same, two goals in four minutes inflicted another home defeat.
Anyinsah was very impressive for Carlisle, the old Brighton loannee showed what he is capable of, but I do not think he was that good, I doubt he will perform like that every week.
Carlisle were the better team in the first half but in the second I think we played better, Carole hitting the bar and Forster’s ball bobbling in front of him as he shot and the game could have been different.
But it was another home loss and more fans were asking for Adams' head.
I agree with this to a degree, especially after the Peterborough game when he said some of the defending was "criminal" and then putting out the same team four days later, not a great idea.
I do think that chairman Dick Knight wants to keep Adams but think he only wants to do this because he knows he made a mistake getting rid of Wilkins and does not want to look stupid. But I feel if we do not win our next game it could be bye bye for Adams.
So the next game is Tuesday night at Luton in the Area final of the JPT.
We must win this game, not only for Adams but also for the fans. I, for one, would love to go to Wembley to see us play.
I've been for England games but it's not the same at all. I want to see my team play there, so boys get you fingers out on Tuesday and win!
Sullivan 4. Think its time for Kuipers to come back.
Virgo 4. Another poor game.
Elphick 5. Not playing at his best at the moment.
Hinshelwood 2. Shocking cannot see him playing Tuesday.
McNulty 5. Played OK.
Forster 5. Still in wrong position.
Jarrett 4. Needs more commitment.
El-Abd 6. Strong in midfield.
Carole 6. Needs to defend more.
Davies 7 mom. Did well again.
Andrews 6. Did OK.
Fraser 6 Looked OK in midfield.
