Party-goers danced the night away at a Burns Supper celebration.

The event, which celebrated the 250th birthday of poet Robert Burns, was organised by Anglo-Scottish couple Alan Mars and Harriet Anderson.

About 70 people attended the event at Brighton Marina Yacht Club on Friday and guests witnessed a parade and a toast to the immortal memory of Robert Burns.

There was also plenty of Celtic music and dancing.

Mr Mars, who has been running authentic Burns Supper celebrations in Brighton and Hove since 2003, said: “It was fabulous. Everyone got really involved and there wasn’t much English reserve."
