Swindon 0-2 Albion
A long time coming but finally something for Albion to be happy about as two goals from Forster secured a win away at Swindon.
It's a win that means that we will start the new year out of the relegation zone.
A first-half strike from Forster, set up by Fleetwood, and a second half penalty after Fleetwood was fouled was the difference between the two teams, and Brighton were the best side, which has not been our problem of late. It's been more of a problem holding on to lead, but we managed it today.
The January transfer window opens on New Year's Day with Thompson going to St Mirren (thank God) and all the loan players due to return to their clubs.
It will be a busy time for us.
We face Northampton at home on the 3rd which is a winnable game, but with a shortage of players we need to get in there quick and snap up some players.
Congratulations to Hinshelwood for securing a contract until the end of season.
If he stays fit then he can be a great asset to the squad.
