High-flying Oldham were held to a 1-1 draw after a gutsy strong performance from Brighton.
261 Albion fans made the long trip up North and saw a good display. It seems that the team played well and the 11-day break has done them good.
Albion had to come from behind after Virgo dived in and gave away a penalty.
On the radio they said it was a dive - people who went and Adams said it was a definite penalty, Virgo got stupidly booked for squaring up to the "diver" and ultimately this proved costly later.
Kuipers couldn't stop the penalty and they were 1-0 down.
Now judging Brighton recently I was thinking "same again".
But we actually played really well after this. Forster flicked on to Murray who ran on to score and put Albion in a strong position.
After this we dominated the game, but early in the second half Virgo needlessly tackled and got his second yellow and his marching orders.
Still Albion dominated and could have won the game at the end but Fleetwood fluffed it.
At the start of the game I couldn't see us getting anything and thought we would be in the relegation zone at full time but we earned a point and I am pleased with the result.
Up next home, the MK Dons. We do well in evening games so I think we can win this even though they are third.
